One of Houston’s most respected and recognized trance DJ’s, Matthew has been crafting his sets and sounds for the last 5 years. A classically trained musician, Matthew takes these lessons and applies them to not only his DJ sets but his latest endeavor, solo production work. With only 2 months time behind the decks, Matthew secured his first residency after his jaw dropping debut at the New Years Eve 2001 show hosted by Club Space in Houston, Texas. Since then the young DJ/Producer has begun touring Texas, the US, and other parts of the globe when he’s not hard at work in the studio.

Staying active within the DJ culture on the local level, Matthew works with various promoters and DJs throughout his hometown of Houston to do everything he can to continue to bring the best in electronic dance music to his friends, fans, and family. He continues this love with his latest project, PHOENIX MUSIC; record/music shop that caters to DJs and the DJ culture by offering hot new releases only a few dollars above cost. Matthew has played with such electronic dance music legends as D:Fuse, Liquid Todd, Carl Cox, Mauro Picotto, Junkie XL, Armin Van Buuren, Oakenfold, Tiesto, Hybrid, Paul Van Dyk, and Ferry Corsten, and continues to push foreward his passion for music hoping that it will bring as much to the people around the world as it does to him.
